Cost of living drops in Zimbabwe

The cost of living in Zimbabwe went down by one per cent in August as locally manufactured basic commodities continue to make a return to supermarket shelves following the formation of the unity government in February.

The Consumer Council of Zimbabwe said the average basket of goods for an average family of five dropped to US$495 last month.
